Top contemporary German artists are presenting their works in Xi’an, one of the ancient capitals of China. The 2010 German Contemporary Art Exhibition brings the largest Germany modern art group to this country.
The exhibition in Xi’an Art museum features more than 130 pieces of modern art works. The most eye-catching one is this "explosion", which takes up an area of nearly a hundred square meters. Bringing modern art to an ancient city that hosts the terre cotta warriors, the exhibition proves popular among local audiences. Four German artists also donated some of their works. The exhibition runs through to the end of this month.
