China is a nation with a glorious long history. During the splendid 5,000 thousand years, the Chinese nation has created the unprecedented culture. To list just a few, I am to introduce the Tea culture, the Dragon culture and the Buddha culture.

The Tea culture was established long long ago, and till now there hasn’t been a correct answer when it exactly came into being. Lu Yu (the Tang Dynasty), writingCha Jing, is considered an expert in tea. Tea not only tastes good, makes people healthy physically, but it builds up one’s spirit and inspiration as well. As a consequence, people have been affected and attracted by tea from the very remote.

The Dragon culture can also be dated back to the ancient times. The dragon is an imaginary creature, with a snake-like body, fish-like scales, deer-like horns and eagle-like claws. It is often associated with empire, power and so on. People hold fear and respect for the dragon. On the other side, the dragon also symbolizes luck and wealth. What’s more, the Chinese nation label themselves as the offspring of Dragon!

The Buddha culture plays an important role. Though the Buddhism was set up in India, it developed rapidly in China. Furthermore, the effect endures till today. Temples are always packed with people praying for anything they want, such as wisdom, love, luck, fortune and so on.

The above is only a glance at the Chinese culture. Many more treasures are waiting for us to discover, preserve and publicize. We feel proud of our spectacular culture.
